Helping the Ripon Community Thrift Store & Food Pantry
While admittance is free at the Ripon Home & Leisure Show at Royal Ridges Saturday, March 3, we will welcome food donations at the Food Pantry booth. Most needed right now is tuna, peanut butter and cream of chicken soup. Also, did you know that a $1.00 donation can help us buy up to 5 pounds of food?  Hope to see you all there!

Ripon Home & Leisure Show Showcases Area Businesses

Spring is in sight and it’s time to start thinking about home makeovers and projects. The Ripon Area Home & Leisure Show on Saturday, March 3^rd, is the ideal place to get ideas on what to do and how to do it. Builders, contractors, landscapers, decorators, and other area businesses that cater to homeowners will be on hand to display their products and talk about their services.

The Home & Leisure Show will be held on Saturday, March 3^rd, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Royal Ridges Conference Center, Westgate Drive and Hwy. 23, in Ripon.

 “There are so many businesses right in our own backyard offering products and services that homeowners will be looking for as they start sprucing up their homes this spring,” said Paula Price, executive director of the Ripon Chamber of Commerce. “Having these businesses all in one place at the same time is an easy, convenient, and no-pressure way for consumers to find out what is available and to meet the people who provide those services. It’s important to our local economy to support area businesses, and this is the perfect way for folks to find nearby businesses that can provide what homeowners need.”

Visitors are encouraged to take their time at the show and gather all the information they need. For their convenience, lunch and snacks prepared by Royal Ridges will be available for purchase.

There is no admission fee to attend the Home & Leisure Show, but people are encouraged to donate canned goods, cereal, or $1/person to the Community Thrift Store and Food Pantry at the door.
