Ripon is a city rich with history and a great place to live!  Ripon residents can fulfill all their needs right in town with Ripon's banks, grocery stores, churches, historical opportunities, a public library and even a movie theater. There is a wide selection of specialty shops, ranging from antiques, clothing, flowers, retail and even the Rippin’ Good Cookie Outlet Store.  There are also lots of dining establishments in Ripon; from family owned to chain restaurants.

The Ripon educational system allows students individualized attention.  The schools are in the city and provide after-school programs and sports. There are also several nearby colleges, including Ripon College, inside the city of Ripon, Marian College and Moraine Park Technical College, in Fond du Lac, and two University of Wisconsin Campuses: Fond du Lac and Oshkosh.  

Quality health care is a priority in Ripon and Ripon Medical Center provides walk-in care and also community outreach programs. There are several clinics in Ripon and also a Center for Creative Healing that provides massages and bodywork.  Ripon also has great places for working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Ripon is home to some unique sites and attractions including the Birthplace of the Republican Party, Larson's Famous Clydesdales, Cedar Ridge Ranch and the very first Marcus Theatre.  Also unique to  Ripon are several annual festivals that bring the community together including Riponfest, Dickens of a Christmas, Cookie Daze and Septemberfest.  Ripon's historic downtown boasts a fantastic selection of shops and restaurants. Ripon has many parks for picnics, hiking and biking. There are baseball and softball diamonds, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts.
