Ripon's Christmas in the Village Weekends starting November 13-15 through Christmas Sponsored by Ripon Chamber of Commerce Twinkle at Twilight Christmas Open House November 13-15 Santa and his reindeer come to visit Friday evening, Drop so You Can Shop at the Public Library, live music and a chance to win great prizes.  Help Ripon kick off the holiday season with a delightful Twinkle at Twilight celebration.  This is the ideal time to start shopping for those unique gifts you can find only in Ripon’s specialty shops and stores, and this is the weekend that stores start their extended holiday hours.   Friday Evening 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. * Downtown Ripon Visit with Santa and his Reindeer Pet a Baby Reindeer Free Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides ThedaCare Mitten Donation Collection Shop Late 'Til 8 - Shops and stores will be open until at least 8:00 p.m. - Citywide Kids Eat FREE! Free supper for kids 10 & under at America Restaurant. Saturday Drop-So-You-Can-Shop Library Lock-In 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. * Ripon Public Library Parents must sign-in each child and provide a working cell number. Musical Open House 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. * At Participating Businesses All Weekend Register to WIN a $500 Ripon Shopping Spree or be 1 of 6 lucky weekly winners! Shoppers who identify the "Mystery Holiday Item" can register at that location. A photo of the mystery item will be featured in the Ripon Commonwealth Press, on the Chamber website (www.ripon-wi.com) and on the Commonwealth website (www.RiponPress.com). The mystery item will change weekly from Open House weekend through the week prior to Christmas. Weekly prizes will be awarded and the Shopping Spree will be the grand prize. Cereal Donation to Benefit Food Pantry Bring a box of cereal to Reflections (210 Watston Street) or Only Her (213 Watson Street) and receive 20% any item at these stores (one item discount per box of cereal). Cereal will be donated to the Ripon Community Thrift Store & Food Pantry. Free Samples and Jewelry Sale at Reflections Stop by Reflections (210 Watson Street) and sample a variety of dips and mulled cider. These items make perfect gifts and are easy to prepare and serve at holiday gatherings. All jewelry at Reflections is also 20% throughout the weekend. Festive Fridays November through December Featuring horse-drawn carriage rides through the downtown historic district weather permitting.
